Hush, Hush #4. Simon & Schuster. 2012. 455 pp.
Nora and Patch have conquered everything thrown at them in the past to stay together. Now, Hank is dead and Nora is in charge of his Nephilim army whose sole purpose is to destroy all fallen angels. As a fallen angel, Patch has the inside track on their plans, so Nora is sure that by working together they can avoid a war between the two groups. All she wants is to be with Patch and have peace, and will do everything in her power to make sure this angel stays with her forever.
Unfortunately, peace is nowhere to be found as the battle for control of the Nephilim army threatens their wellbeing. The fallen angels press their attacks, seeking to destroy her while an inside battle rages for control of the Nephilim and to destroy Patch. Before long, Patch and Nora are facing their greatest fears – unable to change the fate that seems to be tearing them apart.
With wit, humor and compassion, Fitzpatrick takes out all the stops as she leads readers 14 and older on a whirlwind action-packed adventure that will leave readers eagerly reading until the very last page. “Hush, Hush” is a great series, and would be even greater on the big screen. I will definitely be on line for those tickets.
