2015 NetGalley Challenge

I’m participating for the first time in the 2015 NetGalley Challenge!

Challenge Participant

And the winner (again) is…

Thank you for your comments. I never heard back from the previous winner(s), so the three of you who commented below were entered into the contest, and the winner of the “Dear Teen Me” book and swag is….

Joy!!! Congratulations. Can you feel the joy? 🙂

I will be sending you an email asking for your mailing information. Please respond as soon as possible, as Zest Books has already emailed me asking for my winner’s info.

Thanks to the rest of you for responding.

What is going on???

I don’t understand what is going on. Two days ago, I had to pick a new winner for the contest because the first winner didn’t respond with her mailing information. After waiting a full week, Anne Curtis was picked. I sent her an email several days ago asking for an address, but have not heard back. If one enters a contest, one would think they wanted to win. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be working like that here, as she is now the second winner not to respond to a direct appeal.

Thus, if I don’t hear from Anne by tomorrow, I am picking yet ANOTHER winner. Unfortunately, this lackluster response is making me not want to run future contests, as the same thing happened when I tried to give away “The Raven Boys” back in September.

So Anne, if you’re out there, you have 24 hrs. to get back to me with your address. Look for the email I sent you so you don’t broadcast your address here to the world.

If you want to be considered if Anne doesn’t answer this third reminder, please respond to this post. That way I’ll know you are interested. I really dislike picking uninterested winners and wasting not only my time but everyone else’s time waiting for them to respond. Looking forward to hearing from those who truly do want to win.

New Winner of “Dear Teen Me” Book and Swag

Jessi was the former winner of the “Dear Teen Me” Book and Swag. Unfortunately for her, she did not get back to me with her email address by today’s deadline. That makes it great for those of you who had previously entered, as I picked a new winner.

The NEW winner of the “Dear Teen Me” book and swag is Anne Curtis. Congratulations Anne! Thank you for including your email address. I will send you an email with the details.

Again, thanks to everyone for entering.

“Dear Teen Me” book & swag winner

Thank you to all who commented on My very own Dear Teen Me letter, and for entering the contest for a copy of “Dear Teen Me” and some book swag. All comments  and support for both myself and the book were much appreciated.

The contest ended today at 3 pm so, using the Custom Number Random Generator, I am pleased to announce that Jessi Brown is the winner. Congratulations Jessi!

Jessi, you didn’t  include your email address in your post as I’d requested. I hope you’re a follower of my blog so you can see this notification of your winning status in your mailbox. Please contact me on this post with your email address, so I can get your mailing address and send it on to Zest Books who will be mailing items out to all winners in the National Blog Tour after November 17th.

If I don’t hear from you in a week Jessi, I will randomly pick another winner. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks again everyone!

ARC giveaway of “The Raven Boys”

I am giving out an ARC of “The Raven Boys” by Maggie Stiefvater as a reward to those of you who are followers of my blog. I reviewed it a few wks. ago so, for you newbie’s, here’s my review.

I’m not going to advertise the ARC giveaway anywhere else. In my last few posts, I tried to give away an ARC of “Magisterium” but, since the “winners” didn’t respond to my posts for their e-mail addresses, I can only guess they weren’t followers. Not good.

Thus, this giveaway is just for you. So, if you are receiving this e-mail in your inbox, you’re a follower of the blog and are welcomed to enter.

RULES: This is a 24 hr. contest and will end tomorrow (Friday September 21) at 10:15 pm EST. Open only to residents of the USA. To enter, please write a comment on this post saying why you’d like to win. You MUST include an e-mail address in your comment, or your entry will be disqualified. You also MUST be a follower of the blog, as this contest is open only to those who signed up to read great reviews and win great ARC’s right here on “Should I read it or not?.” If you received this post in your e-mail inbox, then you’re a follower of the blog. Very simple.

Good luck everyone!
